Follow Me Dragon

Mission ->To create a visual language for Follow Me Dragon.

A colorful collaboration with VRC to explore the aesthetics of a paper world in virtual reality.

What a relief to play with the endless possibilities of flat, paper-esque designs—I love projects involving paper, digital or real. Anyway, inspired by illuminated manuscripts, styles like this allow for extremely generous reinterpretations of real-world objects and their physics—which makes for really charming and delightful results.

Concept Art

The Great Castle
Concept Painting / Wind swept trees with a hint of sea spray. As night begins to fall, we start to see the sun, moon, and stars simultaneously in the sky.
From The Woods
Concept Painting / Casually standing at the edge of the woods. Imagine the smell of Irish moss and Cliffs of Moher.

Proof Of Concept & Testing

3D Model of Fields
3D Model / When there’s time (which is never), I test the translation of illustration to 3D space by, well, building them in 3D.
